Dumb R. Kelly Lyric of the Week, ed.2

March 18, 2010

Put on some clothes and lets go to the IHOP, baby
(Let’s go to the IHOP babe)
No, no, no (Baby we just made love)
No matter how good the food may taste
(No matter how the food may taste)
I’m still thinking about your body baby, yes I am
(It’s your body I’m thinking of)

…What in random delicious pancakey hell?

Plus, who else ain’t buying that R. Kelly knows what the word ‘etcetera’ means?

    Ms. Brokey,
    IHOP???!!! I say … IHOP???!!!
Wow, that some cheap date after she just went all …
I forget these days, but I Know it sumthin’ worth more than IHOP.

I will confess I got a sweet spot for The Waffle House.

(Is there a Statute of Limitations on gettin’ Virginity back?)

And here I was giving Timbaland the side-eye for his IHOP line. Rruh got there first. Nope, do not believe he knows the meaning of etcetera. I highly doubt he knows what the letters in IHOP means.

    R. Kelly probably shouldn’t have let the world know he was practically the male Fantasia when it comes to literacy, hahaha.

Hahaha, this reminds me of the chorus to ‘Sex Kitchen’ (real title), about, funnily enough, having sex in the kitchen of his house. Kelly sings: “we’ll be making love like the restaurant was closed”.

Erm, excuse me Robert? Are you saying the restaurant would have been your first choice for love-makin’ if it were open? Or has Kelly been banned from every IHOP in the greater Chicago area for trying to get freaky in the kitchen? What is it about eating out (not in that sense) that gets him all hot under the collar? The mind boggles.

“Plus, who else ain’t buying that R. Kelly knows what the word ‘etcetera’ means?” I’m not. Just like I didn’t buy that Nelly “Hot in Herre” even knew how to spell Dilemma.

I’m glad that IHOP is finally getting it’s due though.
